Terms of Service
Effective Date: January 1, 2026. Last Updated: July 6, 2026.
By booking cargo, requesting quotes, or creating a portal account with **Sarvic Global Ltd**, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please review them carefully.
1. CBM Billing & Weight Adjustments
All shipping quotes and invoices are governed by our standard CBM formulas. For Air Cargo, the IATA volumetric weight standard of **1 CBM = 167 kg** applies. For Ocean Freight (LCL), the metric conversion standard of **1 CBM = 1,000 kg** applies. We reserves the right to re-measure and re-weigh packages at our consolidation warehouses in Guangzhou and Istanbul. The final invoice will reflect the actual measurements recorded at our depot.
2. Cargo Categories & Surcharges
Customers must declare the correct category of cargo:
- **Normal Cargo**: Standard trade goods, machinery parts, apparel, textiles, and dry goods.
- **Special Cargo**: Fragile items, hazardous goods, aerosols, fluids, lithium batteries, and items with a declared value exceeding $10,000. These items incur a category surcharge.
Failure to declare Special Cargo may result in customs delays, confiscation by airlines/shipping lines, or additional penalty fines.
3. Customs Clearance & Delays
While our freight rates include destination customs clearing in Nigeria, we are not liable for transit delays caused by customs audits, port congestion, government inspections, or weather conditions.
4. Payment Terms
All invoice fees are denominated in USD. Equivalent local currency payments (NGN) will be calculated based on the current exchange rate offered by our trade desk on the day of payment. Full payment is required before cargo is released for local delivery or pickup.
